Neal co-founded Empire in 1992 after developing a substantial record of achieving growth and P&L results for technology-driven manufacturing companies. He has a track record of successes in business development, market opportunity analysis, technical sales, and general and project management in plastic injection mold and tooling, custom automated equipment, precision machining and metal stamping. He brings operational knowledge, sales and marketing skills, and a strong management background to the Empire organization. Neal is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company, and serves as the primary spokesperson with customers and the community. Director of Business Development
Lewis joined the Empire team in early 2019 with over 20 years of industry experience. Holding a life science degree, having military leadership training and years of sales and management experience gives him a unique set of skills that brings a lot of value to the Empire team. Lewis’ business background is in medical devices including inhalation therapy and surgical devices. He also has experience with consumer and industrial products. His wealth of industry knowledge and experience has been critical in guiding Empire’s strategy and earning new business. When Lewis is not working, you can find him cycling, hunting, and golfing.
Business Development / Firearms Specialist
Alan has been with Empire for over 9 years and involved in the plastics industry for well over 40. In that time, he has used his acquired talents as a Set Up Technician, Production Manager, Quality Manager, Operations Manager, and now up to his current position of Business Development Manager / Firearms Specialist. This diverse experience has given Alan a unique perspective in almost all facets of the molding process. Alan is skilled in identifying the needs of his customers, providing program management and engineering assistance during all phases of a project. Alan is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is an instrument rated private pilot, an active NRA member, and serves as the Outpost Commander in a local Royal Ranger youth program.
Chief Operating Officer
Joe’s career started out as a machine operator while pursuing a degree in education with a minor in coaching and health. It was during this time Joe was exposed and trained in all facets of the precision injection molding business. Joe has held various leadership positions in his career over the past thirty years; his molding experience has been in precision injection molding, primarily in the automotive industry. He has had full profit and loss responsibilities for a multi-national global injection molding company. The continuous improvement philosophy combined with developing engineering solutions at the beginning of every project has been a key to the success in those companies Joe had been responsible for. Joe lives in Rochester with his wife of thirty-nine years, Lise and two daughters.
